“Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced.” — Søren Kierkegaard

Anya’s journey in mental health began with her undergraduate studies at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, followed by a Master of Clinical Social Work from Arizona State University. Early in her career, she gained valuable experience providing therapy in community mental health centers, schools, hospitals, and collaborative care settings, working with a wide variety of clients.

In 2022, Anya began working in private practice, where she eventually obtained independent licensure, began supervising associate therapists in Arizona, and expanded practice to California. Throughout her career, she has pursued advanced training in a range of modalities, earning certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and training in EMDR. As a lifelong learner, she continues to engage in ongoing education to deepen her skills and understanding of varied human experiences.

Beyond her clinical work, Anya is committed to giving back to the community. In 2023, she joined the board of directors for the Keep Moving Forward Foundation (KMFF), a non-profit that provides funding for therapy services to young people who have experienced familial loss.
