“It is the relationship that heals, the relationship that heals, the relationship that heals.” — Irvin D. Yalom
I believe that healing happens through connection—both within the therapeutic relationship and in the relationship you cultivate with yourself.
Welcome, I am so glad you are here.
Finding the “right” therapist can feel challenging, but it can also be the beginning of a completely new chapter in life—one where you feel deeply understood, thoughtfully challenged, and genuinely supported in ways that allow for meaningful growth and healing. I know this not only from my clinical work as a therapist, but also from personal experience.
Research consistently shows that the most important factor in successful therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client. Because of this, I place a strong emphasis on creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and able to show up exactly as you are. Therapy should feel like a place where you can explore every corner of your inner world freely.
Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted from carrying things on their own for a long time. Sometimes there are specific struggles—like anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or past experiences that still feel present. Other times, it’s a more general sense that something in life isn’t quite right, even though it may look like it on paper. Wherever you’re starting from, we can begin there.
Wherever you are starting from, therapy can be a place to slow down and better understand your inner world. Together we can explore the patterns, fears, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck while also identifying the values and goals that matter most to you. Over time, this work can help you respond to life with greater flexibility, confidence, and self-understanding.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, relationship issues and life transitions, and I offer online therapy for clients in California and Arizona. I specialize in working with queer women. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care while always recognizing that every person’s story is unique.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel uncertain about it. If you’re considering reaching out, I invite you to schedule a consultation so we can see if working together feels like the right fit.
